“Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt!”

If you’ve ever been to a concert, convention or family reunion, participated in a marathon, were part of a high school or college club or traveled to just about anywhere, you know that’s true! Every shirt can be a precious memory but that doesn’t mean you’ll still wear them all. T-shirts don’t belong in mothballs! Turn them into something brand new!

A custom creation from Mollietees is a perfect way to hold onto those shirts and immortalize those memories! Its also a good way to remember a lost loved one by keeping a small piece of them or holding onto clothes your kids have grown out of. Not to mention it makes a unique and one of a kind personalized gift!

Here’s some of the questions we often get about custom pieces. Contact us to order your custom piece today!

  • A lot of what you see in our shop can be made with one to three t-shirts. If you have 15 or more shirts, you can even get one of our cuddly t-shirt blankets. Whatever you have, we can work with you.

  • We never charge an extra fee for custom work. However you are responsible for the price of mailing your shirts in to be worked on.

  • Either email us with an inquiry or purchase from one of our custom listings. Once payment is taken, we will contact you with the mailing address where you can send your shirts. Then you sit back while we do our magic. We do our best remain in touch and communicate during every step of the process. When your piece is finished we will mail it back to you. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks minimum processing time from our receipt of your shirts for your project to be finished.

  • Most projects can be made using any shirt that is big enough to produce a 12 to 14 inch square. Projects made with baby clothes require at least an 8 inch square of material. In practice, newborn and 0to3 month sizes are a little too small for this job (with some exceptions) but 3to6 month sizes and above work better.

If you're curious how a certain shirt will look when used in a project you can always measure it with a tape measure or by cutting out a square of the proper size from wrapping paper or newspaper and laying it over the shirt. Whatever the paper covers will fit onto the finished project. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shirts.

Although some trim off may occur depending on the size of the shirt's art, we do our best to center the graphics on the shirt when cutting and cut out as little as possible.
